Description
A Group of Seven Early to Mid 20th Century Novelty Corkscrews; six figural and one in the shape of a key cast from brass with the solid cut steel helix encased in the shank, possibly German circa 1950, 4½” (11.3 cm) in length. The others cast with a small metal alloy figure of a reclining gnome or Irish leprechaun, 3¼” (8 cm) in length, a bronze ‘Scotsman’, a brass ‘Lincoln Imp’ circa 1900, 6¼” (16 cm) in length, two brass flat backed bust of Edward VIII, circa 1936, 4½” (11.5 cm) length, and a brass ‘Black Boy’ bust circa 1920, with hanging ring, 6½” (16.5 cm) in length.
