A Queen Anne Style Walnut Stool. The serpentine edged seat with sprung upholstery covered in a golden cream jacquard fabric woven with foliage and edged with braid. Standing on broken S-scroll legs embellished with carved pendant bell-flowers to the hips, with scroll knop terminals raised on turned bun feet. The legs united by a scrolling X-form stretcher with turned roundel to the centre, stamped underneath ‘Restored by John R Kynd April 1989’. 18½” (47 cm) high, 22” x 15” (56 cm x 38 cm).
