An 18th Century Scottish Quaich, possibly walnut (A/F). The bowl and lug handles decoratively carved with Celtic interlaced rope-work, with a raised rim band inscribed ‘Squab asi’ (Gaelic for Drink Up), 1½” (3.9 cm) high, 2¾” (7.1 cm) diameter, 4” (9.8 cm) wide across the lugs.
