A Sepia Ink Sketch of Sunflowers initialled JA and dated 1904: One of the flower heads having the centre replaced with a small roundel minutely inscribed with the Lord’s Prayer above inscription; To J Edwards 102 Belgrave Road from J. Allison 126 Alwyn St Liverpool, 4 October 1904′. The flowers framed by a decorative multi-ruled and dotted border and set behind glass in an oak frame with a paper label to back inscribed; ‘Drawn by Mr Allison (my fathers friend in Liverpool. He also drew a stamp which went through the post. His bible (7 years to do) is in The Walker Art Gallery L’pool. 12” x 11” (30.5 cm x 28 cm).
