Description
A 19th Century Regional Country Comb-back Armchair., possibly West Country. The top rail with upturned lobe terminals above four long stick spindles piercing through a three part arm bow flanked by long splayed outer spindles and further long spindles angled down to meet a protuberant wedge to the rear of the seat. The arms on curved supports above a round seat raised on ball knopped baluster legs united by a turned H-form stretcher 36” (93 cm) high, 21” (53 cm) wide, the seat 15¾” (40 cm) in height.
