Four Antique Sheet Brass Chamber Sticks: An 18th century candle holder having a moulded candle cup pierced with stud ejection hole and peened to a heavy gauge circular drip pan turned underneath, riveted to a strap handle with shell crested belt hook to the end, 7” (18 cm) high, 4¾” (12 cm) in diameter. Another example with hook ended suspension handle, of simpler design with a wrapped sheet cylindrical socket pierced by an ejector hole, centring an oval tray base, 7½” (19 cm) high, 6½” x 5” (16.5 cm x 13 cm). The third possible Dutch, circa 1800 with wrapped cylindrical candle socket stamped with punchwork and attached to the domed centre of a round tray base with rolled rim, riveted to a strap handle with pierced hole to the end, 13½” (34 cm) in length. The fourth with a turned candle cup screwing into a round dish base with raised foot, secured by a bolt underneath, and fitted with a suspension ring to the side, 7¾” (19.5 cm) in diameter.
