Two Heavy Turned Treen Mortars & Pestles: One 18th century decorated with raised moulding and incised ring turning to the exterior and retaining remnants of paint-work, 17¾” (19.5 cm) high, 7” (18 cm) in diameter, the pestle 9½” (24 cm) in length. The other early 19th century, possibly walnut, 8” (20 cm) high, 6½” (16.5 cm) in diameter, the pestle 8¼” (21 cm) in length.
