A Small Victorian Figured Walnut Sutherland Table. The edge-moulded oval drop-leaf top inlaid with decorative stringing and ornamentation. The turned end supports with spiral-groove fluting on out-swept legs carved with foliate sprays, united by a turned wrythen-fluted centre stretcher and having slender swing-out legs to support the leaves with similar wrythen grooves. The scrolling feet raised on white ceramic patent castors. 22” (56 cm) high, 21½” (55 cm) wide, 5” (13 cm) deep [leaves down], extending to 29½” (75 cm) [leaves up].
