A Fine 17th Century Carved Oak Court Cupboard. The top with moulded edge above a lunette carved frieze, two panel doors flanking a centre panel and a long frieze drawer hung on side groove runners and raised on turned front columns and foliate carved rear stiles leading down to a platform base. The door panels enriched with leafy quadripartite designs defined against a recessed pitted ground, and set in run moulded frames with rising palmate carving to the centre panel and muntins. The frieze drawer concealed behind a lunette carved rail with further foliate carving to the sides, 49½” (126 cm) high, 52” (132 cm) wide, 17” (143 cm) deep.
