A Small 19th Century Larchwood Table Cabinet. The two arch-panel doors opening to reveal a shelf and drawer within, standing on squat bun feet. The back inscribed in ink; ‘Larch wood grown at woodlands near Lanchester and Durham planted by Thomas White in 1778. This cabinet was made at West Retford 1844 by G. Pearson for his Grandaughter Anne White. Came into possession of Great Grandaughter Octavia R. of Jersy ? Empshott Vicarage Hampshire 1877. Given to …… April 1922. Passed on to Phoebe C.
