A Late 18th Century English Patent Straight-pull Corkscrew by The Rev. Henshall circa 1795. The turned wooden handle with brush above a ringed & waisted shank with discoid button marked ‘OBSTANDO PROMEVES SOTTO PATENT’. The simple wire helix with blunt end, 4” (10 cm) in length.
