A Pair of Fine Joined Elm Side Chairs Circa 1700 of rich colour and patination. The tall arch-topped fielded panel backs beneath scrolled dome cresting rails, flanked by turned uprights surmounted by ball finials. The fielded panel seats raised on turned legs united by a voluted front stretcher, twinned baluster turned side stretchers and a similarly turned H-form lower stretcher, 48¾” (124 cm) high, 19” (48 cm) wide.
