The pierced dome-topped cresting rails silhouette cut with scrolled lobes either side and centred by an inlaid four point star above field back panels enriched with a marquetry flowering plant. The plank seats on slender ball turned legs united by peripheral stretchers. The rear of the back panels boldly carved with initials on their sides; a ‘E’ to one and ‘R’ to the other, 39” (99 cm) high, 16½” (42 cm) seat height, 17¼” (44 cm) width.
