Description
A Handsome, Dated Charles II Joined Oak Refectory Table. The twin plank top with cleated ends standing on six bold turned legs with moulded block feet united by peripheral block stretchers. The front frieze rail enriched with strap-work carving; a linked row of foliate S-scrolls above scrolling spandrels to the corners. The central tenon block carved with initials E EB and date 1662 in a recess. Standing 33¼” (84 cm) high, 30¾” (78 cm) wide, 104¼” (265 cm) in length.
