The lid quartered by a moulded framework into four narrow panels, above a carved facade with a band of interlaced C-scroll strap-work over bold flower-head roundels, with shaped spandrels to the corners and outswept square block feet. The ends fitted with iron swing handles, 24¾” (63 cm) high, 46½” (118 cm) in length, 17¾” (45 cm) deep.
