Description
A Pair of Fine 17th Century English Carved Oak Chairs, Circa 1675. Each having an arcaded back with three scalloped arches to the top rail on baluster turned spindles leading down to a serpentine cut back rail, enriched with decorative carving, cross-hatching & punch-work and adorned with turned finials. The uprights having voluted scroll terminals. The plank seats in raised frame on ball & block legs united by turned front stretchers and plain stretchers to the sides and rear.
