Description
A Set of Six Ash & Alder Rush-seat Spindle-back Chairs attributed to Lancashire/Cheshire Circa 1800-1860. The dipped top rails above two tiers of baluster turned spindles flanked by round turned uprights. The rush seats on turned legs with pad & block feet; each united by a ball knopped front stretcher with plain round stretchers to the sides and rear. 38” (97 cm) high, the seats 17” (43 cm) in height, 19” (48 cm) wide.
