A Large 18th Century Welsh Oak One Piece Court Cupboard. The recessed upper cupboard beneath canopy rail carved with a triad on initials WWM to the centre flanked by dragon heads issuing undulating trails of foliage enriched with punchwork and defined against a recessed pitted ground. The corners adorned with turned pendant finials overhanging two moulded panel doors emblazoned with fine scaly dragonesque S-scrolls to the panels flanking a centre panel depicting a potted lily, with tulips carved to the broad recessed panel muntins. The base cupboard with two frieze drawers on undulating flowers above moulded panel doors on stile supports. The top gouge carved with later date 1790 AD. 68” (173 cm) high, 62½” (159 cm) wide, 22” (56 cm) deep.
