Description
A 17th Century Oak Wainscot Chair. The foliate carved back panel with lozenge design beneath a shaped cresting rail with voluted terminals above scrolled ‘ear-pieces’ flanking carved uprights. The shaped silhouette cut plank arms on ball turned posts leading down to a plank seat on ball turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 46” (117 cm) high, 23½” (60 cm) wide.
