Description
A Late 18th/Early 19th Century Yew-wood Comb Back Windsor Armchair with elm seat. The shaped top rail above a long shaped centre splat pierced with decorative motifs and cut into the front of the arm bow, flanked by six long stick spindles and side splats with six further underarm spindles and bentwood end supports. The saddle seat morticed through and wedged to pad-footed cabriole front legs and turned rear legs united by a crinoline stretcher, 40½” (103 cm) high, 23” (59 cm) wide.
