A Small Boarded Oak Coffer, converted to a log box. The plank lid with moulded edge and punchwork embellishments, on replacement hinges. The front board with chip carved sides and a band gouge carved of lunettes above two lozenge carved motifs, repeated on the end planks above ogee arched cut-outs forming the feet. The interior liner with a zinc log holder, 20½” (52 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide, 12” (31 cm) deep.
