Description
A Louis XVI Style Table Ambulant inlaid with parquetry and having gilt bronze mounts. The circular top ornamented with a trelliswork of inlaid interwoven straps in a cross-banded border edged in beaded gilt metal trim. The frieze inlaid with similar lattice inlay housing a drawer and standing on slender cabriole legs with foliate cast mounts, connected by four upswept stretchers meeting a moulded circular centre platform with a flared gilt metal gallery rail of interlaced rope-twist loops, 30” (76 cm) high, 23¾” (60 cm) in diameter.
