Description
A Small James I Oak Coffer, early 17th century. The triple panel lid in a run moulded frame enhanced with chip carving on iron butterfly hinges. The front having a nulled frieze above a rail of chip carved run moulding and two panels carved with nulling above a channel moulded base rail. Standing on stile supports 22½” (57 cm) high, 39” (99 cm) wide, 21” (53.5 cm) deep.
