Description
A Fine Miniature Reproduction Model of a Queen Anne Figured Walnut Bureau Bookcase inlaid with cross-banded borders and feather stringing. The top section having a moulded twin arch cornice above two doors opening out to reveal a fine fitted interior of pigeon holes, a central arched cupboard, stationary racks, banks of concave fronted drawers and columnar pilasters. The sloped fall front bureau with loper supports housing further concave front drawers, cupboard, pigeon holes etc with a sliding stationary well and leather insert. The three long drawers below fitted with swing handles on winged back plates, standing on turned bun feet, 21½” (55 cm) high, 10½” (26.5 cm) wide, 5½” (14 cm) deep.*
