The royal subject posed before a curtain with sky in distance, 50” x 40” (127 cm x 102 cm). Set in a decorative carved & gilded frame with attribution plaque inscribed ‘WILLIAM III By Sir Godfrey Knellor BART 1645-1725’ , 60½” x 50¾” (154 cm x 129 cm).
