A 19th Century Ash Knitting Sheath, possibly Welsh. The haft bound in wire and having a central needle hole with three subsidiary needle ridges to the edge, above a facet cut knob carved with a heart flanked by crosses, and a carved inscription ‘LYIL CWLO’. 10½ in (26 cm) in length.
