A Charles I Oak Westmorland Livery Cupboard Circa 1640. The frieze carved with a row of interlinked trefoiled C-scrolls and having turned pendant finials either side overhanging the cupboard. The central panel door and side panels carved with twinned S-scrolls of foliage and undulating bands of foliage to the muntins & stiles enriched with punch-work. The base with a lunette carved frieze on parallel-sided baluster turned front legs and plain rear stiles leading down to a pot shelf below, 44¾” (114 cm|) high, 50” (127 cm) wide, 15¾” (40 cm) deep.*
