The twin-plank lid with moulded edge on iron strap hinges above nulled frieze rails, twin-paneled sides and a triple paneled facade carved with lozenge designs; the centre panel incorporating a Romayne portrait, the flanking panels centred by Todor Roses. Standing on stile supports 26½” (67 cm) high, 48” (122 cm) wide, 23” (59 cm) deep.
