The upper section having a moulded cornice and bulge front frieze drawer above a hinged fall front clad in burr-figured book veneers framed in broad cross-banded borders edged with feather-banding. The interior housing three pairs of pigeon holes concealing secret compartments behind above a central cupboard flanked by side drawers above further drawers below, all clad in burr figured veneers edged with feather banding and fitted with brass pendant handles and framed by D-moulding. The base chest accommodating two short over two long drawers standing on bracket feet, 69¼” (76 cm) high, 39” (99 cm) wide, 23” (58 cm) deep.
