The lid with a cavetto moulded centre panel in a moulded frame above a carved facade of five panels emblazoned with shields and cartouches, divided by decorative pilasters headed by small face masks. The gadrooned bulge-front base rail raised on carved lion paw feet. 24½” (62 cm) high, 73½” (187 cm) wide, 23½” (60 cm) deep.
