An 18th Century Walnut Veneered Chest of Drawers inlaid with feather-banded borders. The rectangular top split in the centre with a fold-over flap to the front on engraved brass hinges, opening out on loper supports to form a writing surface above four long drawers of graduated depths, fitted with brass swing handles on pierced back plates and framed by D-shaped moulding. Standing on bracket feet 32” (81 cm) high, 36” (91 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm).
