Description
A Small Ebony Veneered Box of Bijouterie. The rectangular box inlaid with white metal edging bands and rectangular plaque to the lid, 2” x 5½” x 3¾” (5 cm x 14 cm x 9.5 cm). Containing three small unmarked gold lockets with decorative engraving; one with a miniature propelling pencil, a gilt pendant cross with coral cabochon, a tie pin set with seed pearls and a sapphire & ruby chip, a pair of coral pendants, a Sterling silver pill box in the form of a sweetie adorned with filigree, marcasite and a red centre stone, stamped M & M with London hallmarks for 1999, and another silver pill box of rectangular form with an enamelled lid decorated with kittens in a basket.
