An Early 16th Century Style Carved Oak Dressoir /Buffet. The moulded cornice above a central cupboard door flanked by side panels over two frieze drawers divided by a moulded muntin with carved pendant finial. The cupboard raised on carved side posts leading down to a platform base with linen fold carving to the triple panel back and sides. The door, side panels and drawers all centred by portrait roundels with protuberant relief-carved heads amidst renaissance style foliate scrolls incorporating an angel head, green man face mask and zoomorphic details, 59½” (151 cm) high, 39” (99 cm) wide, 17” (43 cm) deep.
