Description
A 19th Century Mahogany Fish Shaped Knitting Sheath with glass inset eyes, a needle hole to its mouth, carved fins and a pierced slot running diagonally through its body with piqué work initials AM to the side, 8¼ in (21 cm) in length. And an unusual mahogany knitting sheath; the tapered rectangular body split up through the sides to form a clip with a chamfered top centred by the needle hole, naively carved and embellished with inlaid beads, 6 in (16 cm) in length.
