The planked top with drop leaf to the rear opening out to form an octagon, above a central frieze drawer flanked by arched aprons, carved with leaf & bud spandrels and raised on turned columnar legs united by block stretchers, with a similarly turned swing-out gate to the back, 30” (76 cm) high, 34” (86 cm) wide, 16½” (42 cm) deep [leaf down].
