The back having two vertical panels of cane-work in a pierced frame carved with undulating scrolls of crested foliage and flanked by ball-knopped barleytwist uprights with carved artichoke finials. The scroll-end arms enriched with acanthus sprays, on ball-knopped posts leading down to a caned seat with turned legs united by a turned H-stretchers and a pierced foliate carved rail to the front. 43¼” (110 cm) high, 23” (58 cm) wide.
