Description
A Pair of Large & Decorative Basket Chandeliers (A/F). The frames composed of a ‘bag’ shaped basket-work grid entwined in strings of tiny sparkling glass beads and interspersed with faceted glass drops. The tops surmounted by cast gilt metal foliate crowns above a domed upper section encircled by a band of cast anthemion motifs, sweeping down and out to meet and further gilt metal hoop of anthemion motifs with stiff leaves to the edge, mounted with four crossed flambeau trophies and swags of floral garlands. The bases terminating with foliate pendant finials, 59” (150 cm) height, 28” (70 cm) width.
