A Charming 19th Century Novelty Match Pot with Striker & A 19th Century Apprentice Piece. The match holder in the form of an ebonised boot mounted on a round turned wooden base alongside and boot jack with striker panel and decorative nail punched borders, 4 (11.5 cm) high, 4” (10 cm) in diameter. The apprentice piece in the form of a miniature centre pedestal table; the circular top clad in radial segment of alternate rosewood and king-wood veneers on a baluster turned pedestal and triform base raised on turned feet, 3½” (9 cm) high, 5” (13 cm) in diameter.*
