Description
A Joined Oak Back Stool attributed to Lancashire, Circa 1700. The pierced cresting rail above a fielded back panel carved with a lozenge motif flanked by plain uprights with pyramidal finials. The plank seat standing on turned legs united by a twinned baluster turned front stretcher and plain rails to the sides and rear, 41¾” (106 cm) high, the seat 18” (46 cm) high, 18” (46 cm) wide.
