The lid with moulded edge above a carved plank front emblazoned with two large daisy wheels either side, an iron lock-plate flanked by carved initials HB above the date 1679 and a guilloche bifoil motif encircling daisy heads enhanced with punchwork and incised zigzagging. The supporting end board with V-cut feet. 21½” (54.5 cm) high, 46½” (118 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
