Description
A Fabulous Primitive Comb-back Windsor Armchair attributed to The West Country, Circa 1800, of fine colour & patination. The raised top rail above five long stick spindles piercing the three part arm bow and flanked by 10 turned underarm spindles morticed through and wedged. The D-shaped saddle seat on octagonal legs united by an H-form stretcher, 42” (107 cm) high, 27½” (70 cm) wide, the seat 16½” (42 cm) high.*
