The glazed canted rectangular screen painted with flowers, a moth & butterfly on a dark olive green ground by Oliver Messel; the height altering by means of a pull-cord weighted by a tassel pendant, threaded through the top of the square section pole surmounted by a turned finial. The square stepped base bordered with rosewood cross-banding inlaid with strings of ebony & boxwood, 59½” (151 cm) high.
