The box-form upper section having a hinged lid over a geometrically moulded triple panel front with an arcaded centre panel and cushion front appliqués to the side panels, flanked by intricately turned split spindles. The base section housing a long drawer with three cushion front cruciform moulded panels and split spindles to the facade, small ornamental roundels of concentric ring turning and ovoid bosses to the base rail and spandrels, 40½ in (103 cm) high, 39 in (99 cm) wide, 19½ in (50 cm) deep.
