Description
Two 19th Century Mahogany Armchairs: A Georgian chair having a swept cresting above a pierced fan-topped back splat, scroll end arms on swept supports and a drop-in padded seat covered in floral wool-work in a moulded frame on square chamfered legs united by an H-stretcher. The other having a wavy cresting rail with out-swept terminals above a broad fretted centre splat with Gothic arch influences; the crook arms having voluted terminals on swept supports leading to a drop-in seat and square moulded legs united by an H-form stretcher.
