Description
A Harlequin Set of Six Spindle-back Rush-seat Chairs attributed to Lancashire/Cheshire, Circa 1800-1840. The shaped top rails with lobe terminals projecting either side above two tiers of five baluster turned spindles. The rush seats edged with wooden protective strips and raised on turned legs with pad & block feet, united by a decorative knopped front stretchers with round turned stretchers to the back & sides.
