A Large Primitive Stick Back Country Armchair, late 18th/early 19th century. The back composed of thirteen stick spindles below an ash arm bow surmounted by a shaped block cresting rail. The D-shaped slab seat morticed through and wedged to three splayed legs, 38” (97 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
