The 14” (36 cm) wide enamelled dial having a moon roller in the arch and charming figural scenes representing the seasons to the spandrels, with a ring of black Roman numerals encircling a subsidiary seconds dial (lacking pointer) and calendar dial. The oak case with mahogany banded borders and spired brass ball finials and rosettes adorning the pediment, 91” (231 cm) high. the trunk 19” (48 cm) wide.
