A Large & Impressive Early 19th Century Map Sampler of England, Wales and Part of Scotland by ‘Sarah Fielder at Abbey House 1813’. The verso handwritten; ‘;’Born 1800, worked sampler at school, married William Child of Hurstbourne Tarrant in 1830 and went on to live (and farm) at ‘Vernham Manor’. Set in original verre eglomise gilt frame 19¼” x 16½” (50 cm x 43 cm) excluding frame.
