A Delightful George III Pictorial Sampler by ‘Ann Hoare, finished this work in the 12th year of her age ‘1800’. The sampler having several features pointing to a Norfolk origin; an exuberant floral border with red & white ‘rosa bundi’ and in particular the distinctive Norfolk rose-buds, with striated pine trees and the conforming fallow deer. 16½” x 12½” (42 cm x 32 cm) excluding later frame.
