The curved back section edged in ribbon tied moulding and having hinged downswept lids enclosing partitioned compartment with interior with an ivorine label ‘W.J.MANSELL LTD/ANTIQUE & MODERN FURNITURE/266 & 266A FULHAM ROAD SW’ to one side. The leather inset writing top with banks of drawers and cupboards to the back. The frieze housing a cock-beaded centre drawer flanked by pairs of side drawers with fanned bracket to the corners, on square tapering legs embellished with pendant chains of carved bell flowers and terminating on spade feet, 40” (102 cm) high, 48” (122 cm) wide, 28” (71 cm) deep.
